DIGITIZING

To digitize something means to convert something from an analog into a digital format. An example would be scanning a photograph and having a digital copy on a computer.Another example, and one we use often in our shop, is scanning a business logo onto a computer to create the digital sew file, and then using that to embroider the exact logo onto a shirt, hat, jacket, and more.

With DTG, a printer directly applies the ink to the clothing item with inkjet technology. This concept is similar to printing on paper, except that it’s on a t-shirt or sweatshirt. The desired design is printed directly onto the garment, hence direct to garment, with a special printer using water-based inks, which are absorbed by the fibers of the garment.

My Queens sash needed my name on the back, which required specialized embroidery with a rare font. They not only found the font, but matched the color thread exactly to the rest of the sash. Friendly service and a great price as well. These guys rock!!!
